We design for a new generation, those who don’t like to be labeled or boxed in. We design freely without boundaries.
Kross Studio announced the company’s launch in spring of 2020 amidst truly unprecedented global turmoil. In just months, the disruptive design studio’s grand creative ambitions and collaborations drove its unprecedented success.
Kross Studio upends the stereotype of traditional Swiss design, specializing in futuristic collaborations and high-performance collectible products.
Boundary-breaking starts with unexpected collaborations. Kross Studio mines the rich universes of world-renowned entertainment companies Lucasfilm and Warner Bros. Consumer Products for inspiration, creating awe-inspiring collectibles inspired by “Star Wars,” “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” and “Batman,” with much more to come.
Collaboration is so integral to the Studio identity that the ‘X’ (or cross character) was integrated into the company logo, symbolizing the company’s unique positioning at the intersection of fine art, pop culture, and high watchmaking as well as a clever reference to the Swiss cross, known worldwide for exceptional quality.
Kross Studio designs its own iconic horological movements such as the KS 7’000 caliber: a central tourbillon fully conceived in-house that has already become synonymous with the brand.
Equipped with a full-fledged in-house manufacture, Kross Studio artisans employ the highest level of expertise and craft to create each top-of-the-line collectible from the inside out.
In addition to its Haute Horlogerie products, Kross Studio has also branched out to accessories such as watch rolls and watch winders that revisit the Studio’s popular DC Comics and Star Wars Collaborations.
The cross also celebrates the egalitarian spirit of the startup’s founding partners. The lean, vertically integrated design firm and manufacture boasts only twelve employees, including five active partners.

For Kross Studio, expect the unexpected, as the design studio and manufacture will continue to pursue non-traditional collaborations, with many broader, innovative, and technically advanced projects on the horizon.
What the media say
“Despite its relative youth, newcomer Kross Studio has firmly planted itself at the wild, playful, and deliberately divisive intersection of pop culture and haute horlogerie.”
“Kross Studio has collaborated with entertainment giants like Warner Bros and Lucasfilm Ltd. to create watches, clocks and watch winders that variously embody sculptural display cases, museum-quality finishes and artistic details, all of which engender interactive and immersive experiences. In short, Kross Studio creates pop culture-inspired timepieces that also function as interactive objets d’art.”
“It has always been in Kross Studio’s DNA to bring fine craftsmanship, high-end elegance, and great detail to the table.“
“This official Star Wars watch costs $150,000 – and it's brilliantly insane [...]. The Death Star Tourbillon is a mechanical tour de force.”
“To the Batmobile! Kross springs into action.”
“Allow us to introduce you to the new Death Star Tourbillon by Kross Studio. A stunning example of haute horlogerie, the limited-edition wrist candy is inspired by the Galactic Empire’s infamous space station-slash-superweapon.”
